Assyria TV was founded in September 24, 2011 and is an independent news organisation registered in Sweden.

Assyria TV is autonomous and independent from Assyrian organisations and institutions. This is to ensure one of the most important tasks, namely to examine organisations and individuals that have influence on decisions affecting Assyrians.

Assyria TV seeks to engage with all the issues that affect the Assyrian nation, both internal and external. The objective of the channel is to broadcast information and knowledge, audit, and generate debate.

Assyria TV’s ambition is to offer a range of programs that provide room for diversity and diverse opinions and strive for collaboration among the Assyrian community around common issues.

The programs of Assyria TV aim to be characterized by democratic and humanistic values, educational aspirations, diversity and quality. The programs address issues and perspectives in an impartial and objective way.
